You’re here because…

You’re exhausted from holding it all together, and wondering why things still feel so hard when the worst is over.

Some moments feel fine, and then suddenly you’re overwhelmed - flashbacks, anxiety, shutdown, or a drop in mood that seems to come from nowhere.

You’ve tried to help yourself. You’re doing everything you can. But the same patterns keep showing up.

You want to understand what’s going on and feel steadier, safer, and more like yourself again.

Sound familiar?

You’ve learnt ways of coping that once helped you survive - staying busy, shutting down, overthinking, people-pleasing, keeping everything under control.
They worked when you needed them to. But now they leave you exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from what you actually feel.

You can see the patterns, but they’re hard to shift alone. Not because you’re stuck, but because they’re tied to trauma that hasn’t been fully processed yet.

Therapy helps you do both: to make sense of those old patterns and begin to process the memories and emotions that keep them alive. Not by forcing anything before you’re ready, but by helping you safely work through what still feels stuck, so it no longer runs your life in the background.

Because these aren’t flaws in who you are. They’re protective parts of you that have been carrying too much, for too long.

Hi, I’m Claire.

I’m a trauma specialist and CBT psychotherapist, working with PTSD, complex trauma and long-term patterns shaped by trauma and survival mode.

I won’t rush you or ask you to share everything at once. Therapy with me is shame-informed, compassionate, and practical, focused on making sense of your responses and finding new ways forward at a pace that feels possible. PTSD and complex PTSD don’t have to define the rest of your life.

Your memories will always be part of you, but they don’t have to dominate your present.

You can visit places or have conversations linked to the past without being pulled back into it.

You can understand why you needed the coping strategies you’ve relied on for years, and learn new ones that support who you are now.

You can begin to imagine a future, and even believe you deserve it.

You might even begin to trust, maybe for the first time.

How It Works

Specialised Therapy for PTSD and complex trauma

Together we’ll understand what’s driving your reactions, work through what still feels unresolved, and build new ways forward that feel calmer and more possible. You set the pace; I guide the process.

1

A Free 15-minute Call

A simple space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.

You can share why you’re considering therapy now, and I’ll explain what the process might look like.

There’s no pressure to decide on the call. I’ll send an email with everything we discuss so you can think it over in your own time.

2

Initial Assessment

We explore how your past shows up in your reactions and coping patterns today.

You won’t need to go into details about your traumatic experiences. This session is about making sense of what feels hard now and planning next steps at your pace.

3

Start 1–1 Therapy

In ongoing sessions we explore what your system reacts to, the patterns that developed to protect you, and the beliefs that still shape how you respond.

We use a mix of self-compassion work, skills for managing reactions, and memory updating, adapting the approach to what you need each session.

Ready to take the next step?

If you’re tired of just getting by and you’re ready to start making sense of what trauma left behind, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll focus on what feels most urgent right now, and work toward a life that feels more stable, connected, and your own.
